Sri Ganganagar is nestled on the scenic banks of river Sutlej, in close proximity to the Great Thar Desert. The Gurudwara Buddha Johad is a large gurudwara that is situated at a distance of 55 km in the south west. This is the place where Mehtab Singh and Bhai Sukha Singh brought head of Massa Rangarh and hung it from a tree on August 11.
Kalibangan is known as an archaeological site for the Indus Valley civilization.
Suratgarh-Jaitsar is known as a popular agricultural farm.
Laila Majnu Ki Mazar is situated at a distance of 11km from Anoopgarh on the western side. Also known as mazar of Laila-Majnu, this was created in remembrance of love and mutual devotion between a teacher and a student. A fair is held every year in June.
